A social value case study

At Civiteq, we are committed to supporting local communities, and we work with our customers to support programmes that matter to their citizens.

This year we have supported Clyde FC Community Foundation with its summer football camp, to enable the Foundation to offer free food to more young people on the programme.

The programme, run in partnership between Clyde AFC Foundation and FARE, has been running in the East End of Glasgow four days per week over the six weeks school holidays this summer. Civiteq’s financial contribution contributed towards the provision of breakfast and lunch for the 120 young people taking part.

The summer football camp is free to access, in an area where there is no existing provision of this sort. The programme offers structured activity to young people, alternating between ages 5-11 one week and 12-16 the following week.

“The donation from Civiteq has been invaluable to delivering this programme. These camps are absolutely vital to provide both structured activity, and hot meals during the school holidays to those young people who may experience food poverty. Delivering this programme is costly, and even with a grant from a funder, we required additional support, which is where Civiteq stepped in. We are delighted to be working with them and look forward to collaborating on these sorts of projects in the future.”

Alan White, Charity Development Manager, Clyde FC Community Foundation

“Civiteq was delighted to support Clyde FC Community Foundation with its summer camp programme, a charity which has become important to us through our work with Glasgow City Council. I’m delighted our donation has enabled the programme to offer free food to more young people. We look forward to our continuing relationship.”
