About the event
We’ll be attending techUK’s Government Digital Service (GDS) Local techstack workshop in Central London this January.
This event co-hosted by techUK and GDS Local follows the launch of the new GDS Local unit, an important milestone for collaboration between central and local government.
The in‑person session will explore a shared technical architecture model for local government, expanding access to national platforms and unlocking the value of anonymised data.
As digital and service transformation specialists, Civiteq will contribute supplier perspectives, share insights from council delivery, and help shape early thinking on interoperability, procurement, platforms and user‑centred design.
The workshop brings together technology suppliers, local authority DDaT leaders, service designers, researchers and consultants to discuss priorities, surface challenges, and co‑develop a long‑term vision for local government technology.
