Civiteq, has been named a finalist at the prestigious 2025 Oracle Partner Awards, for the EMEA Apps Customer Success Partner Award. This recognises Civiteq’s exceptional track record in delivering successful Oracle-based transformations across local and central government. The Customer Success Award celebrates excellence in value realisation, ease of adoption, customer satisfaction, and measurable return on investment.
Bringing Oracle to life in government
Civiteq supports public sector organisations with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions across HR, finance, procurement and payroll, including Oracle’s Fusion Cloud suite. With deep sector experience, Civiteq’s team of over 20 highly trained consultants combine technical expertise with first-hand knowledge of working within government.
In recent years, Civiteq has helped more than 15 UK councils transition from on-premises Oracle systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud SaaS, five of which are new engagements in the past 18 months. Services delivered include programme and change management, enterprise architecture and integration, data migration, business analysis, workstream and test management, learning and benefits realisation, and ongoing support for target operating models. Civiteq works closely with Oracle’s public sector teams to ensure alignment, governance and delivery excellence.
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council transformation
A standout project recognised by the Awards team was Civiteq’s work with Sandwell Council, where the ERP programme was reset and re-governed to delivered Oracle Fusion Cloud across finance, HR, payroll and procurement. Key achievements included:
- Establishing robust governance, a clear vision (“One Council. One System”), and design principles (“adopt, not adapt”)
- Delivering impactful change management, communications and learning (e.g. instructor-led training rated 5.3/6 by approx. 1,000 delegates)
- Engaging over 1,900 participants through system demos and drop-ins, with 98% reporting improved understanding of Oracle’s impact on their role

- 14,275 hours (1,903 work days) of productivity gained annually across professional teams
- 50% faster approvals for requisitioners, saving 16,847 hours per month
- Reduced manual processing, printing and duplication through automation and self-service
- Improved compliance (e.g. financial approvals, bank reconciliations, journal processes) and enhanced reporting, transparency and data quality
Unlocking progress for public services
Civiteq was named finalist at Oracle’s AI World event in Las Vegas on 13 October.
